THAT TIME #023 - ofrenda

THAT TIME #023 - ofrenda is the twenty-third zine in this ongoing series of the one page riso printed zines. Idalia Sautto (Mexico City) was interviewed for this issue. She talks about what ofrendas mean to her.

The inside of this zine was spray painted using a papel picado as a stencil. And extra simulation of a papel picado is also in the zine in case one feels inspired to use it for their own ofrenda.

The format structure is centered around text and image with a short story - more like a flash fiction story - sometimes taking the form of a poem or directions - to then be supported by an image that is usually inside the A6 zine when completely unfolded to A4. Initially inspired by the zine series titled 'HI" by Anne Dyhr from Samsø, Denmark, the series focuses on one small observation at a time.
